Let’s dive in 👇
Astro Bot
Sony dropped a gem with this one. Astro Bot isn’t just cute
— it’s a full-on showcase of what the PS5 can do. With clever platforming,
crazy fun levels, and smart use of the Dual Sense controller, this game had
everyone smiling in 2024.
Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth
Square Enix went all out with this remake sequel. Bigger
maps, deeper combat, and an emotional story that hits even harder than the
original. Fans of JRPGs absolutely ate this one up.
Helldivers 2
This co-op shooter blew up in 2024. Squad up with friends,
drop into chaotic missions, and try not to get wiped by alien swarms. It’s
chaotic, hilarious, and honestly one of the best multiplayer experiences of the
year.
Black Myth: Wukong
An action RPG based on Chinese mythology that turned heads
worldwide. The combat is slick, the visuals are insane, and boss fights are
tough in the best way possible. Definitely a must-play for hardcore gamers.
Silent Hill 2 (Remake)
Horror fans finally got what they’ve been waiting for — a
modern remake of one of the scariest games ever. With upgraded visuals,
chilling sound design, and that same haunting atmosphere, it gave players
nightmares all over again.
Spider-Man 2
Insomniac nailed it (again). Swinging through New York as
both Peter Parker and Miles Morales is pure joy. The story’s cinematic, combat
feels smoother than ever, and the Venom fights? Next level.
Tekken 8
The king of fighting games came back strong. With gorgeous
visuals, a deep roster, and super-responsive combat, Tekken 8 reminded everyone
why this franchise is still king of the ring.
Stellar Blade
A brand-new action title that surprised a lot of players. It
mixes stylish combat with a sci-fi setting and a mysterious storyline.
Definitely one of the more underrated but well-loved PS5 exclusives this year.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Capcom finally delivered a sequel fans had been begging for.
The open world is massive, combat is dynamic, and the pawn system makes every
playthrough feel unique. Perfect for RPG lovers.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
The Yakuza series keeps evolving, and this entry brought
both emotional storytelling and laugh-out-loud side quests. Plus, the new
Hawaii setting gave the series a fresh twist.
